Dehydrated Backpacking Food - Creole Shrimp



I have been busy getting other Appalachian Trail meal ready and I thought I would give dehydrating sea food a try.  The flavor in this meals was amazing (and very spicy so you may want to tone down the tobasco if you don't like your food hot), but the texture of the shrimp came out a little chewy.  I wish I could find freeze dried shrimp to add the the meal after the sauce has been dehydrated as I think this would fix the problem.
