Dehydrated Trail Food - Chili Mac
As time quickly approaches for my departure on my AT thru hike attempt I am spending more and more time dehydrating meals to save money as well as provide me with meals that I know I will enjoy.
This is my version of Chili Mac. I have adapted my previous recipe that I use at home for chili to accommodate a larger amount of servings and to also kick up the heat a notch (which my wife would not enjoy if I was just making it for us at home). You can dial the heat down by cutting out the red pepper flakes and adjusting the amount of cayenne pepper and jalapenos that you use.
